Rules and Regulations of Russian Universities

Higher Educational Institutions in Russia have certain Rules and Regulations that all students are expected to follow. Listed below are some of these for the guidance of the students.

  • The payment of Tuition Fees for the first year of study shall be made prior to the student’s departure for Russia, in accordance with the instructions issued by the university. Such instructions may require the fees to be either wire transferred directly to the university, or paid in Indian Rupees in India to their Authorized Representative M/S A J Trust Educational Consultancy, who will do the further needful. For subsequent years, the fees may be paid in India in Indian Rupees to A J Trust Educational Consultancy, or directly at the university, within the due dates as specified by the university. Late payment of fees will attract penalty such as fines or in extreme cases expulsion. The fees are payable to the university in Rubles at the rate of exchange prevailing on the date of payment of the fees, as announced by the Central Bank of Russia, or in some cases as specified by the university. The Dollar / Euro or any other rates quoted are for the information and guidance of the student only.
  • Tuition fees or any other charges paid to the university for educational purpose will not be refunded under any circumstances, including for failure to complete the course or any semester on health grounds or expulsion from the university for any reason whatsoever. In case where the discontinuation of studies due to health reasons is of a temporary nature, the university reserves the right, entirely at its own discretion, to provide academic leave to the student, with the right of admission to the same course at a later date.
  • The university reserves the right to expel, suspend or cancel the students admission without any advance information and without any refund / compensation in case the studies are not satisfactory or the student is found indulging in any activity or behaviour which is against the rules and regulations of the university or the country.
  • The university reserves the right to levy fines or expel a student as a deterrent from committing any breach of the rules of attendance, non conformance to the hostel regulations, unruly behaviour resulting in damage to furniture & fittings in the university or the hostel, consumption of drugs, indulging in ragging etc.
